Harvest Church is loving, accepting, happy, a place of healing for your heart and a place to grow and belong.Tondi & I have been married for 30 years. We have three sons, who we are very blessed and proud to have in our family. We have beein in the ministry since the early 70's That's a long time ago! But, we love serving the Lord and serving His church. Todi has moved in the gifts of the Holy Spirit & teaching & Jim has a teaching gift with an additional emphasis on mission. God has placed a heart of compassion within in us for people. We would love to meet you: in church, in a special "Meet the pastors lunch meal" after church, or via email. Welcome to Harvest Church BA. Anita & I serve as executive pastors & we are very excited with what the Father is doing here in our city. Our hearts are passionate to see lives & families transformed & changed by the power of the Father's love. We are also passionate about bringing biblical truths in practical & spiritual ways. Here at Harvest Church we aim to minister these truths to all age groups. Our small groups, children's & youth meeting's, as well as our Sunday services all focus on the Father's Heart & His unconditional love for us. So whichever service you attend, our hope is that you leave built up & encouraged.We believe that everyone can be used of God, & we want to help you discover your spiritual gifting in a fresh new exciting way. Whether it be worship, children, youth, outreach to our city or involvement in missions, we believe there will be a place for you here at Harvest Church.Anita & I would love to see you come visit our church. Proverbs 3:9-10 AMP says, Honor the Lord with your capital and sufficiency [from righteous labors] and with the firstfruits of all your income; so shall your storage places be filled with plenty, and your vats shall be overflowing with new wine.

To honor God in this verse means to worship; to show great respect. When we bring the firstfruits of our income to God, we are worshipping Him and acknowledging that He is Lord over all of our finances. In return, He blesses our finances. This shows us that worship is not just singing to God, it also involves our giving to God.

Tithing, giving offerings, and alms are all aspects of giving. Tithing is giving 10 percent of our income to God on a regular basis through your local church. Offerings is above and beyond the 10 percent tithe. While alms are gifts to the poor, orphans and widows. Pray and ask God where He would direct you to give offerings and alms.

Statement of Faith

HCBA Statement of Faith

We believe there is one God who lives forever in three persons: Father, Son & Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)

We believe that the Bible is God's Word to the world, speaking to us with authority & without error. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

We believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ the Son, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His death for us on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the Father, & His personal, physical return to rule the earth in power & love. (John 1:14-18; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18)

We believe that all man kind is lost in sin & needs to turn from it & trust personally in the Saviour, Jesus Christ. All need to be born anew by the Holy Spirit's power into God's family. (Ephesians 2:1-10; John 3:5-7)

We believe the Holy Spirit lives in us as believers & brings love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, & self-control into our lives. He works in & through us with His Charismatic gifts. (Galatians 5:22-23; 1 Corinthians 12:7-11)

We believe in the resurrection of every person; to eternal life for the believer & eternal judgment for the lost. (Matthew 25:31-46)

We believe in unity for all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ & seek community together: we want to become more like Him in every way, who is the head of His body, the Church. We are called to love Him & one another & are enabled to do this only as His life flows through us. (1Corinthians 12:12-13; Matthew 22:37-40)

We believe the Scriptures teach that marriage is the covenanting together of one man & one woman in a union to the exclusion of all others. This union is established by an authorised ceremony under God. Marriage is a unique reflection of God's faithful love for all humankind. The relationship of husband & wife, as family, reflects the covenanting self-giving love between Christ & His Bride, the Church. The pledge of mutual faithfulness is not tentative or conditional. The permanent nature of the marriage bond gives security & promotes the development of a trusting relationship. The Church has a responsability to care for, nurture & prayerfully support the marriage relationship & the children of the union. (Genesis 1:27; Genesis 2:18; Genesis 2:24; 1 Corinthians 7:4-5; Ephesians 5:25)
