Originally from NY, Duke and Gayle came to Broken Arrow from South Florida so Duke could pursue Bible training school at Rhema. Leaving a corporate career with IBM behind, he sought to follow God’s leading and broaden his pastoral care experience. This led him to become a hospice chaplain after completing a clinical pastoral residency program at Hillcrest Hospital. Gayle has a history of serving as a Children’s Pastor and Bible study teacher. She recently retired from Blessings International where God cultivated her heart for missions. She worked in various positions in Finance and Development at Blessings and continues to serve the church using her administrative gifts. Together they agree that caring for people is their calling and passion, along with finding the perfect slice of NY style pizza! They have two children and two grandchildren, who are the sunshine of their lives.
